Dr. Jad Mourad was born and raised in the suburbs of Jacksonville, Florida. At a very young age, he learned what it was like to be a dental patient when he was diagnosed with a complex oral condition that resulted in 9 years of braces and several periodontal surgeries. This only emboldened him to become the kind of dentist that can empathize with his patients on a unique level.

Dr. Mourad went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Middle Eastern Studies at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He then decided to brave the cold and try out the Northeast by moving to Boston where he received his dental degree at Tufts University. True to his adventurous nature, Dr. Mourad then ventured out west to Portland, Oregon where he completed an intensive General Practice Residency at the Oregon Health & Science University. It was there he was able to safely provide dental care to medically complex patients, as well as patients with special needs. Ultimately, his love of Boston brought him back east where he will be receiving advanced training this year in Periodontics at Boston University while also being a part of the dedicated team at Medford Dental Associates. In his free time, Dr. Mourad enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his rescue dog Tuna and his two cats Milo and Miley.
